What is Harvest for Hunger?

Almost half the hungry in our area report that they go without food at least one day per month.
The hungry are children, seniors and working adults.  They are our neighbors and our co-workers.

Harvest for Hunger exists to provide emergency food at a time of the year when many are not
thinking about hunger.  March is Harvest for Hunger month in Northeast Ohio, and there are so
many ways you can help.

Harvest for Hunger is an annual effort of Northeast Ohio's foodbanks that benefits the hungry in 19 counties and is one of the largest food and fund drives in the nation.  The drive takes place each March. Harvest for Hunger collected enough funds and food to provide more than eight million meals
to the hungry in Northeast Ohio last year from donors at area supermarkets, workplaces and
schools.

Please visit Harvest for Hunger's official web site to learn more.
