 NORTHERN OHIO IT SECURITY SUMMIT
On Friday, March 7, 2003, several NOITR members participated in the Northern Ohio IT Security Summit which was held at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy [web site] in Richfield, OH.

The event, billed as a "Security Summit" was organized and coordinated
by Mr. David Hunt of TruSecure Corporation [web site].  The Summit's agenda  was to bring together representatives from federal, state, and
local law enforcement, as well as representatives from the US Attorney's Office and the private sector for the purpose of providing information
about how to prepare for, and respond to, an indirect or direct cyber
attack. 

NOITR members Norm Beznoska, Infiniti Systems Group [web site],
Sgt. Chuck Wilson
, Independendence Police Department [web site],
SA Mike Dobeck
, US Secret Service, Cleveland Field Office [web site], and AUSA Bob Kern, US Attorney's Office [web site], gave presentations describing their respective jurisdictions in the IT security arena.

In addition, SA Stan Paulson, FBI-Cleveland Office [web site], a representative from the Westlake Police Department [web site], and a private-sector attorney also gave presentations.

After individual presentations a Roundtable discussion concluded the
Summit.
